To Hell and Back

I had to get back to Camas today. I needed to leave Tuesday for a work assignment in Calgary, and had plenty to do to get ready before leaving for Canada. From Kennewick, I headed west on Badger Road, and then in the town of Badger I took the gravel Badger Canyon Road south.
The road rises to a plateau in an area of farming country. I also get a glimpse of Mt. Hood in the distance.
I head west on Sellards Road through the farms, and then take Glade Road towards Bickleton. I see my first other motorcycles (HD's) of the day in Bickleton, but I pass through and keep heading west. Coming into Goldendale, I get another view of Mt. Adams.
Heading west from Goldendale, I take Hwy 142 and it soon begins following the Kickitat River.
Then I reach Hwy 14, and the Columbia River. Once on Hwy 14, it now turns into a motorcycle parade, with everyone taking advantage of a sunny Sunday to go out for a ride.
I make one final stop to take a pic of the Bonneville dam.
Then it was just a short leg to home.
I left Thursday without really knowing where I would end up. Being in northeast Oregon by Friday night, I wisely decided to head to Hell's Canyon and enjoyed a great ride down to the Snake River. So I made it to Hell and back!
